LMAO I swapped with Alice again, and Joe tagged along too which is really nice. But still no sign of anyone else from Heinsberg, which is really weird, and the fact that I have 6 new people to meet is a bit overwhelming. Also I stg I've never seen Katherine Warren before, I never even knew she was in the game.

Ohhh I think I know what might be going on. We get better upgrades the longer we hold onto our gun/weapon. I wonder if eventually it'll evolve into an idol or if it just stops at rifle. That'll get pretty absurd if we get to merge and suddenly like half of the tribe has idols, lmao.

Man I do not feel socially prepared for this swap. Maybe because it's like 10:30 PM and I could really use some sleep, haha. I haven't talked nearly enough with anyone to form any good impressions so that'll have to come sometime tomorrow probably. Also I haven't even thought about the challenge since it was announced which is probably for the best since I have like 1% confidence I'm going to win anything remotely related to chess. I'm still going to attempt it obviously but yeah I'm not banking on winning.

Uggggh I'm finally caught up with messages. Swapping into a 9-person tribe where you only know 2 other people sure is taxing! I still don't have like a tier list but I do have some general impressions.
Matt seems pretty cool, Dog however is a bit difficult to talk too since I'm more of a waller and he keeps things really short. Matt and Dog voted together with HUNK the last TC so I feel it's safe to say they're all pretty close. I'm starting to learn bits and pieces of the outcast vote on Daniela but not a whole lot really. It sounds like it was a 4-2 and that Elza had a group chat but Katherine completely flipped on her to vote out Excella. I'm trying to gauge if there's still tensions there but I haven't learned much yet. I hope there is because all 5 Dimitrescu deciding to stick together would be a nightmare.

OK I played through the challenge twice because I swore there had to be more to it but nope that was it. Why was there an hour and 15 minute time limit???
Anyways it was hardly chess at all, basically a real time game with a side-scrolling board where you have to navigate your king through the chess board without getting him in check or the board scrolling past you. It was OK and a little frustrating at times but I think I did alright. I'm a bit more confident that I haven't totally lost though it probably still isn't good enough.

Oh hey Youtube has been featuring chess videos today on its homepage, how convenient!
Also with about 4 hours left until TC I guess I should do a tier list although I still hardly know anyone here.
Excella/Elza/Katherine - This is the "I really don't care" tier since I hardly talked at all with them. Actually Excella made a decent first impression so I might move her up, I dunno.
Angela - She seems nice but she also ignores like half of what I write which is weird. Might move her up if she'd stop doing that. Also she's a newbie but I like her attitude towards the game, very cheerful.
Dog - I don't really like talking to him but I have the most PMs with him basically, and if I want to work with Matt I probably have to tolerate him, unless this is another of those situations where I'm really misjudging how close people are to each other.
Matt - Pretty cool, but somehow we started talking about game and devolved to just casual talk and I feel like that's kind of my fault. Maybe I'm being paranoid because I think I made a good first impression, I dunno.
Joe - He's talked in the group chat about how he wants our Cassandra alliance to stick together and I believe him. He has no one else but maybe Angela anyways and I don't see why he'd want to immediately jump ship within 24 hours.
Alice - The game keeps swapping us together so I guess I'm stuck with her. But she's pretty cool and I trust her, and if she blindsides me here that's pretty much game over anyhow so yeah no reason not to be open and honest with her.

As far as TC goes I really don't care who goes as long as it's not Joe or Alice. Or me, obviously. I think I've been doing an OK job with socializing. There's definitely less active people here and also less engaging people here. If Dimi does decide to stick together that's not going to be great but I'm not sure how likely that is.
Ngl I don't think I'm in an amazing position here but hopefully I can squeeze by. There's a chance of an outcast twist but it'll have to be way different than last time or else it'll be 7-7-4 instead of 6-6-6 which yeah would be pretty problematic for the outcast tribe.

Omg Cassandra is full of challenge beats, lmao. I would've beat Dog too if I didn't hesitate for a bit wondering "is that really it?" But yeah I'm glad Joe won, although that does mean if me/Alice get voted out and there's double-drag outcast like some people think then that means we can't take him, although obviously I want to avoid that scenario at all cost. And at the very least if I don't get in with Dimi then I think I had a decent enough social game to like not be the first name people throw out. Or at least I hope...

I feel like Dog might not be getting along with Alice because he just asked me for tips on how to talk to her, which is probably not a great sign. But I should wait and hear what everyone says about the vote first. I honestly have no idea what's going on and the realization is just now kind of sinking in and it makes me feel anxious.

1. It's OK. I think Matt is pretty cool but I hope I don't have him as an enemy. I'm just worried about there being 5 people from Dimi here so if they get along that could be a voting block. I mean it's less who I'm not getting along with and more "who even are you?" I know I said I didn't like Dog before but eeeeeh maybe he's not that bad. I'm more concerned about who's on my side than who's the best person to talk to persay.
2. Basically any result that doesn't involve me or Alice going, but if it's anyone from Dimi that's an added bonus since I'd feel a bit more relieved then that they aren't all working together. It'll be even better if it's an outcast and some of the Dimis get dragged along. So basically anything that keeps the Cassandra alliance alive I'm all for.
3. I'm going to make myself cookies tonight, yum! Well "make" is kind of a strong word there since it's just store bought cookie dough, lol, but I could use something sweet to get me off the stress of this council.

Man a lot happened while I was eating cookies! Apparently Joe learned from Excella that Dog/Excella/Elza/Angela/Matt are pretty tight. Apparently Katherine's name has been thrown around but I'm thinking if that were true more people would let me know because I've only been hearing it second hand. It makes me think that Alice is being targeted but I'm not too sure yet. Joe thinks we should team up with Katherine and let her use her item to vote out one of the above names which I'm not sure. I'm getting more convinced that this isn't just paranoia and they are all working together so maybe it'd be a good idea? And Elza was just telling me she needed some excitement so this might just be it, lol. But Katherine hasn't been talking to me in a while either so I'm not sure. I'm just going to go to bed and deal with whatever happens in the morning. I need the sleep anyways.
Oh, and the cookies were delicious, but I think I ate too much of them, lmao.
