Its true he ultimately did not end up sending it, but people are gonna see it post game.
Either way as someone who has gotten shit from using their confessional this way I just think its a learning opportunity for all.

Honestly the Matt confessional didn't strike me as crossing any lines at all. I got the impression he was heated and maybe hasn't done the best job of viewing the game from other people's perspectives, but I want to see the players warts and all. I want the private reactions that from an objective standpoint aren't particularly rational but show people's emotions.
Also, if we're worried about something Matt said in confessional hurting Carlos somehow post-game, my impression is that that post pales in comparison to whatever Matt actually did say in PM, given Carlos's feelings on Matt in the jury.

Mmmm I guess as a commanding officer I’m privy to more information than what is displayed in a confessional.
I also can see where yall are coming from a bit. I just think a lot of semi “unjust” stigma got placed on Carlos in a very complex situation that was kinda not fully his fault and the whole thing got overblown.
Sending someone a message like “guess you shoulda stuck with me neener neener” is kind of not a great look when your goal is to win a game and not be viewed negatively by someone who was a little less than cordial on the way out, but this is a game about limited perspective and you are the main character of your own story.

Yeah, I'm someone who likes to vent in my confessional where I feel safe but then spectators see it and get offended so I feel for Matt. I don't think he crossed a line in his confessional.

Reminds me of Adorable Critters where I think Slow Loris actually did send a few messages like that and got treated as an Icon.

Also Id like to state for the record I’m not like anti Matt by any means. Really other than this weird drama between him and Carlos he has played a solid utr game. I also am not trying to slander Matt for any reason. I think this is a much deeper conversation that Matt and Carlos probably need to have in a post game non game setting if they are both willing to meet each other halfway on and be civil. I also think its super important to remember that you don’t have all the facts when you play a game. That’s all I am saying is I feel like that post is a little in poor taste because even if not sent its gonna get read.
And I’m not saying people shouldn’t use their confessional however they want to. Thats the point of a confessional, but I am allowed to say when I think even the thought of doing something can be in poor taste based on context. Doesn’t mean you have to agree with my opinion 😂

Last note on the subject, I do want to give Matt credit for not sending that message and recognizing that it wasn’t a good message to send. Given his state right now that was a sound call.
When I originally posted “in poor taste” he hadn’t given reasons yet as to why he wasn’t sending the message. Timestamps would show I never followed up on that and I think Matt has enough social chops to, when he really thinks something through, he knows when something crosses a line too much to a point that it’s bad for his game.

I think Billie is trying to personify pure chaos at this point. It's...a little hard when we don't really get full confessionals from her to know what she's thinking, but like maybe this is her way to jury manage or something?
