Welcome to Survivor: Village!
Welcome to your Typewriter. Only you, the Commanding Officers and the Monsters will see what you post here. However everyone will have access to it postgame. Feel free to share your thoughts and point of view on the game. Monsters will also ask you questions on occasion, feel free to answer them. There are no guidelines to what you can post in your confessional, though occasionally you will be required to post private individual challenge submissions here. Otherwise, the virtual sky is the limit! Take your gun, take a deep breath, and when you are ready, get ready to face the danger and mystery of the Village.
You have two other threads you have access to: {1} Briefcase. This is where you hold item(s) you are in possession of, such as the gun. {2} Discard. This is where you will cast votes, and play any items you possess.
If you feel you wish to make your own confessional threads in addition to the ones provided to you, be our guest.
To get you started, here are a few questions:
{1} Have you ever played Resident Evil: Village before? If not, do you know the basic story or have you played other Resident Evil games before? {2} Do you have a strategy for how you will play Survivor: Village? {3} How do you feel about the gun twist so far? Is there any aspect of this game you are initially nervous about?

Mia's Marvelous Musings:
1. How do you feel about how this first challenge is going so far?
2. If you haven't done so yet, please give first impressions of everyone on your tribe. If you have, please give thoughts as to who you are specifically finding yourself drawn to want to work with and why. (feel free to answer both if you want).
3. The game has now been going on for about 30+ hours, how are you finding it so far?
4. If you had the sole power to vote someone out of the game, who would it be and why (feel free to answer from your tribe or others, or both).

Okay, confessionals!
Let's get caught up.
(1) I've never played Resident Evil. I don't know the basic story. It's all Japanese to me. {shrug emoji] (2) I'm just going to go in guns blazing and try to connect with people. I've never played Survivor before, but I am a long-time Diplomacy player, and so a set of nested alliances just feels right for me. My basic principle: make everyone feel like the most important person for their game is me. (3) The gun twist seems fine. It honestly feels like a fairly low-impact twist. I don't expect that it's going to impact too many votes. Building alliances and information networks will likely remain the driving force behind the game. And I'm not nervous yet. Let's see how things develop.

Response to Mia:
1. Unfortunately my timing did not line up very well on that first challenge. I really would have loved to draw for my tribe, just because I feel like I would have done well, and it would have been a nice opportunity to introduce them all a bit to my style and effort-level, but it's cool. Once Jessica volunteered, I wasn't going to push it.
I think our guesses were fine, but I imagine we did not win. Kinda bummed nobody saw the steamroller -- that's the one I think I could have picked out, had I been around. But no biggie.
2. First impressions:
Jessica -- has quickly become my core ally. I feel like we've genuinely hit it off, and I am very sincere with her when I tell her (as I have) that she is my Wendell/Dom all-the-way ally. She's very active, very thoughtful about the game, and she is going to put in as much effort at this game as I am, which says a lot.
Sheva -- seems a little quiet, and lacks some confidence. I am HOPEFUL that I am her closest ally and her insecurities are genuine. I feel like I want to trust her and bring her along in any alliances I form. I'm trying to encourage her to take charge a bit.
Joe -- told me that he, as the person sitting out, was engaged in some other activity with a chance to gain an advantage or lose a vote with members of the other tribe. I see it as placing a fair amount of trust in me that he told me that, and it makes me want to work with Joe more. I like him. He is quieter than most because of his vacation, but he is experienced and easy to talk with. I definitely want to work with him, but he's not quite as close with me as Jessica is, as I went right over and passed on Joe's secret to Jessica, to try to build that bond closer.
Carlos -- seems to be drilling me for information without giving anything back. I don't trust him much. I am trying to make him feel like he is a mentor to me, and he is the one I trust the most, but it's quite the opposite. I am wary of Carlos.
Alexander -- he has been MIA for a long time now. My early chats with him were okay, but the long absence (and I have the impression that he has been absent perhaps with everyone) makes it very likely that Alexander would be the first one voted out.
Leon -- seems quite experienced, and I enjoy speaking with him as well. I'd say that my talks with Leon are less developed than my strategy talks with Jessica, but he is my second ally. I expect that Leon, Jessica and I are going to form the tightest trio in this tribe. I appreciate that Leon (unlike Carlos, for example) feels free to give me his true impressions of what is happening in the game. We definitely have some chemistry.

Mia's Question #3: I am digging the game so far. The first 24 hours were slow, and I was kinda dying to be able to talk game with people and begin to form alliances, but Jessica kind of gave me the signal that I'm free to just go for it with her, and now I feel like the game is really taking off. #havingfun
Mia's Question #4: I'd vote out Alexander. He has been silent for 24 ours or so, and so our bond has withered on the vine. There is still time to change this, but I feel like Alexander is in trouble.

I am still reeling from the #outcasttwist. I definitely treated Alex like I did not expect him to remain in the game. I was deceptive with him because I thought there would be no consequence, and it would minimize the chance of an immunity idol or advantage of some kind coming back on me. But keeping Alex in the game after receiving 6 votes, exposes a part of my game to the rest of my tribe, and other tribes, that I would have liked to keep secret.
I also fear that Alex is going to take me with him. That would require some scrambling. I quite like my place at Moreau. I suppose the bright side is that I can expand my contact list, and go make some more friends, but it's definitely higher risk joining up with a new group together with someone I just lied to.

There is some News that pops up that says this: "Did you notice this new message? What does it mean?"
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!
I feel like this is a hidden immunity idol clue, but I don't know what to do next...
